Raymundo Jacquez III, Esq. is a lawyer with deep roots in the East Bay. He is a graduate of UCLA where he received his BA in Sociology in 2008. He then went to law school at UC Davis and graduated in 2014 with a Juris Doctor (JD). During law school he held internships with the Sacramento Superior Court, Public Advocates, and Equal Justice Society. Upon graduation La Raza Law Students Association recognized Raymundo with their Patino Service Award, recognizing his commitment to social justice.
After graduating law school Raymundo worked at Centro Legal de la Raza in Oakland for almost nine years. For most of his tenure at Centro Legal, Raymundo directed a diversity initiative called the Youth Law Academy. By the end of his time at Centro Legal Raymundo had been promoted to an organizational leader, first spending six months as an interim Co-Executive Director, and then as the Deputy Director of Strategy and Operations.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Raymundo is driven by a profound passion for leveraging his legal expertise to make a tangible difference in people’s lives. He is resolutely committed to dismantling barriers and ensuring greater accessibility to the court system, particularly for communities that have historically been marginalized and underserved.
